Based in Richmond, Virginia and founded in 2015, Artifact Press is curated by poet/artist, Heidi Reszies. Work produced by Artifact Press is created out of a deep appreciation for visual art, book arts, and poetry—one artistic practice opens to the other, in artifacts that become vehicles for poetry/part of the poetry's form: the printed word in concert with its material experience.
Deluxe limited edition chapbooks and artist's books are typeset by hand and letterpress printed. Artifact Press titles can be found in libraries and special collections, including Poets House, the Beinecke Library, and Arizona State Poetry Center.
